The colours in this print, particularly the sky, were inspired by the 19th century Japanese woodblock printer Hiroshige. I tried to bring his trademark vivid colours, unusual vantage points and seasonal subject matter together in this wintry view from a bridge looking down into Wimbledon station.
Printed by hand in London using water based inks on Fabriano 300gsm paper. All prints are signed and numbered and come with a certificate of authenticity.
My prints are handmade and colours will vary slightly from print to print, especially those with blended skies and paths.
